#SSVBlogNuggets: How to have an amazing life!

"A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men" (Proverbs 18:16).
- First, DISCOVER the gift (s) and talent (s) God endowed you with!
We all have, at least, one gift (Matthew 25:14-15; Ephesians 4:7-8), no one is 'talentless'; you probably haven't discover what it is!
But as precious stones are not found on the surface, so is your talent; you may have to dig. So dig. Not into the ground this time, but in you!
You are a big box of potential, open you up!
Your talent is your key to an amazing life; so go, find your treasure!
- DEVELOP it with DILIGENCE until you become GREAT at it!
Your talent will most likely be in a raw unrefined state and won't be of much value to anyone!
It's not enough to just discover your talent, you have to develop it with diligence (which I like to define as consistent hard work).
Polish, refine and develop your talent - that's when it becomes of real value to anybody.
- Put it in the FINEST PACKAGE!
Get an education! Take a course! Read books! Renew your mind! Learn selling and marketing skills! Cultivate leadership and management skills! Live by God's precepts!
To really grow outward, you have to grow inward.
There are probably many other people who can do what you do, and they are possibly more gifted; in what packaging are you presenting yours?
- Be motivated by Jesus Love!
This is the final ingredient that makes it all complete!
Let your every action be driven by love - love for God and for people!
Without love, we'll all be a greedy and self-centred bunch. Without love, we'll cheat our way through, while beating others down. Without love, our drive would be to "maximise profit", every other thing would take a back seat!
Use your talent to serve God and people, and see the world make room for you!
PS: #SSVBlogNuggets is a series of short, precise, thoughtful and informative posts! Of course, all inspired by God's Word! SSV means Still Small Voice.
