Have you cashed your inheritance in Christ?

"For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more THOSE WHO RECEIVE abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness WILL REIGN IN LIFE through the One, Jesus Christ" - Romans 5:17.

When we surrendered our lives to Christ Jesus by receiving His free gift of salvation, we received more than most people know or can imagine. We did not only receive remission of sins (new birth), but also healing, access to heaven's unlimited resources, authority over dark forces, God's righteousness, victory over sin, freedom from curses, etc...we received a loaded gift pack!

By reason of accepting Jesus into your life (which I hope you have), He credited His finished work into your "account" - including the new God-like life, the divine health, the dominion over evil forces in heavenly places; all that was accomplished by reason of His suffering and death has been ascribed to you in Him, all you need do is cash it.

As a child of God, you need not be trying to get healing! As an heir in God's kingdom - a joint heir with Christ - you need not be believing God for supply of your needs. As one who has "received abundance of grace", you should not be fighting to defeat dark forces. Why? You already have all these and more in Christ Jesus!
Healing is yours! Victory over sin is yours! Authority over dark forces in heavenly places is yours! Supply of your needs is yours! God's righteousness is yours! These are not things you should be trying or believing to get - He has already given them to you, they are yours! All part of the gift of salvation you received.

The Apostle Paul wrote to the Colossians...
"giving thanks to the Father who has QUALIFIED US TO BE PARTAKERS of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has DELIVERED US FROM THE POWER OF DARKNESS and CONVEYED US INTO THE KINGDOM OF THE SON OF HIS LOVE" - Colossians 1:12-13.

Please, pay attention to the words, you'd notice they are written in past tense, meaning it is done already. God has "qualified us", He has "delivered us", He has "conveyed us", these are not things that are going to happen, they already have! It is done! It is finished, like Jesus said! Accomplished! Perfected! Completed! And all credited into your account! Wow! How amazing is that!

Please, read this, paying attention to each word and let the reality of who you are and what you have in Christ sink in...
"I...do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the RICHES OF THE GLORY OF HIS INHERITANCE in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward US WHO BELIEVE, according to the working of His mighty power...And He put ALL THINGS UNDER HIS FEET, and gave Him to be head over all things TO THE CHURCH, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all" - Ephesians 1:15,16-19,22.

Jesus did not suffer and die for Himself, no! He didn't die so He could gain eternal life! He didn't come to earth to win victory for Himself! He didn't need to. From the foundation of the world, He had all power, all authority, and all dominion.
So, why did He go through all that suffering and pain? For you and me! He gave Himself for you and me! He tasted death, went to hell for you and me! He gave up His glory and took on the form of mortal man for you and me! And then He triumphed over dark forces, making a public spectacle of them on the cross for you and me! He arose from death with all power, all authority, all dominion, all victory, but He didn't go to heaven with them - He credited them into your account, they are all yours now - the question is have you cashed it?

Picture this. If someone pays a hundred thousand naira into your bank account, do you still need to believe God for the money to be yours? Would you need to hope that the money is yours? Would you be trying to make the money yours? It's yours already, right? It's in your account after all! You may not have it physically, but it's yours, isn't it? All you need do is go to the banking hall, present your chequebook (properly signed, of course) and cash the money!

In the same way, as Christians, our bank account has been credited with lots of amazing things! We have no need to believe God again for them - He has given them to us. All we need do? Cash them! Translate them into the physical equivalent!
Cash your victory, it's yours!
Cash your healing, it's yours!
Cash your material provision, it's yours!
Cash your safety, it's yours!
Cash your authority over dark forces, it's yours!

How? You may ask. By the name of Jesus Christ!
You translate all that has been credited to you into the physical equivalent by using the name of Jesus Christ!
You cash your inheritance in God through Christ by understanding and walking in that reality!
You cash it by making your mind believe all that is yours in Him!

Our goal should be to make our minds believe all that has been credited to us in Christ! Only then can we walk in the reality of who we are in Him.
