I want to be close to Jesus at the Supper Table

The Supper Table is prepared; Jesus and His disciples will now sit, eat and dine together; how close to Him will you be?

It's a table that takes all, but while some will be close, others will be a little further; how close to Him will you be?

Like John, I want to be close to Jesus at the Supper Table.

Close to Jesus at the supper table is… where He can easily whisper His reassurances into my ears.

Close to Jesus at the supper table is… where you have total rest from all your worries as you learn to have Him shoulder your burden.
Close to Jesus at the supper table is… where you learn to completely trust in and depend on Him as His faith grows in your heart.
Close to Jesus at the supper table is… where you have overflowing joy even in the midst of the storm as He shows you glimpses of your wonderful future.
Close to Jesus at the supper table is… where He fills you boldness as He baptizes you with His spirit.
Close to Jesus at the supper table is… where you're transformed as you feed on His word.
Close to Jesus at the supper table is… where you're conformed to His image as He pours out His love in your heart.
Close to Jesus at the supper table is… where He helps you grow your spirit as you spend time with Him.

I want to be close to Jesus at the Supper Table... where there are no walls or fences, or hindrances, or fears, or worries, just me and Him intimate with each other, sharing, dining.

Don't wait to feed off scraps that fall off from the Supper Table. Join Him at the table, and be close to Him. You could even place your ear on His heart if you wish, He won't scare you off; He welcomes it. Draw close to Him.

It's up to you to determine how close to Jesus you would be at the supper table. No one assigned the seat close to Jesus at the supper table to John, he determined to be there. You want to be close to Jesus at the supper table? It's up to you.
